Can the New England Patriots find the right food for the long haul?
Can the Patriots find a new approach to preparing their team’s food?
Can they find the perfect balance between high-calorie, high-protein food and a balanced diet?
Can the team maintain their style and continue to grow as a franchise and as a team?
I recently sat down with a few key players and coaches to discuss the New York Giants’ food strategy and look ahead to this season.
Q: So, the Patriots’ offseason has been pretty busy, huh?
Q: Do you think the team has gotten to the point where they can prepare a food plan that can work for them?
I mean, there are a lot of new players coming into the league, and you’ve got to look at the roster and how players fit in.
How do you think New England can handle this new season?
Do they have a good food plan?
A: The biggest thing for us is consistency.
I think the players know what they need to do to keep themselves on track.
I don’t think we have any problems with the way we’ve prepared.
We have some new players, so we need to adapt.
If you want to have consistency, you have to go out and do the same things you did last year and make the same mistakes.
Q, What are the biggest challenges in this season for the Patriots?
One of the biggest things is just consistency.
Every week you have a different opportunity to make a change, and it’s important for us to keep that consistency.
Q.: How are you guys preparing this season?
A, I’m in the process of going through a nutritionist.
I’m going through the process right now.
The nutritionist is going to give me the nutrition recommendations to make sure I am eating right and eating healthy, so I can prepare for the season.
I think we’re in a good spot, so if we can keep it consistent, then I think we can make some progress.
Q : What are some things that you want your team to focus on during the season?
Are there some things you would like to add to the diet, like more greens?
A: The main thing for me is just to make it as easy as possible for players to get through the season and for the coaches to be able to get their guys ready.
Q- So, what do you expect from this season and what’s your hope?
A : This is going really well.
I’ve been very fortunate with the health of the players and the coaching staff, and the nutritionist has been fantastic.
We’ve got a very good diet plan.
We’re going to be really good.
Q., What are your hopes for the Giants?
A.: The hope is that the food is good.
The hope would be that we can have a great season and keep up the good health.
Q.- How do the team plan to adjust the food plan this season to help the team get better?
A.: It’s going to depend on how much of a difference it makes.
We’ll be fine with what we have, and then once the season is over, we’ll figure out how to make adjustments.
Q:’ What do you see as the biggest challenge for the New Jersey Giants this season?: A lot of the things that have been discussed have been really good and have been successful, so it’s hard to see that change.
Q.; How do your players feel about the food strategy that they are on right now?
A.; The guys have done a great job.
They’re in good shape.
They’ve been eating right.
They have good habits and are staying on track with what they’re eating.
Q.– What’s the most challenging aspect of preparing for the NFL season?
A.; You’re trying to make changes and get a consistency that you can put together in a season.
That’s the biggest thing.
