How to make farmhouse greens in a crockpot from scratch
I was having a lot of trouble finding the right crock pot for the recipe that I was making.
I was tired of making the same kind of green beans that I had for the last few months.
So I decided to make my own.
I didn’t have a croc recipe that was ready to go, so I looked up a recipe for green beans from one of my favorites.
I decided that I would make some and put it on the list of recipes I would buy and make the next time I needed a green bean.
So, that’s how I came up with this crock-pot green beans recipe.
I made them using the following ingredients: 1.1 pounds green beans 1 cup water 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon of olive oil 1 teaspoon of chili powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 tablespoon garlic salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 tablespoon fresh parsley To make the greens, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, oreganos, garlic salt, and pepper together in a large bowl.
Heat the water in the crock, and pour the green beans into the crocks.
Let the crocs sit for about 10 minutes.
Then add the remaining ingredients.
Cover the croc with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Meanwhile, make the green sauce.
Combine the brown sugar with the olive oil in a small saucepan.
Add the salt, pepper, and oreganol and stir until the sauce is completely melted.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Turn off the heat, add the beans, cover with a lid, and let them sit for 1 1/3 hours.
Remove the lid, cover the crocodiles, and allow to sit in a cool place.
Drain on paper towels and let sit for another 30 minutes.
When the greens are ready, make your sauce.
Whisk together the garlic, oregans, salt, black pepper, parsley, and the fresh parsleys.
Pour the green sauces sauce over the green croc.
The greens were delicious, and they were a perfect addition to my vegetable soup.
