Sliced kale, apple and apple cider in this vegan dish
It may be the most photographed dish of the year, but what makes this dish so special?
The ingredients are simply amazing.
These greens, apple cider and beet greens have all been sous vide-cooked in a pan with no fat or oil and are then grilled in a skillet.
A little vinegar and garlic sauce helps to keep the greens crisp and crunchy, while a sprinkle of salt, pepper and some lemon juice help to add a salty and tangy flavor.
The only real drawback is that the greens taste a little mushy, so if you’re looking for something a little healthier, you could definitely use a vegetable like broccoli instead of the kale, but I love this dish.
