What does it mean to have a ‘win-win’ relationship with the Leafs?

The Leafs have won five of their last six.

It has been an absolute masterclass.

That’s all the more impressive given the Leafs are on a four-game winning streak.

So how does the relationship with one another go?

Well, the Leafs have been a bit more cooperative, said Leafs assistant general manager Mike Babcock.

They’re not as secretive as they were before the season started, which is always a plus for winning teams, said Babcock, who was promoted to assistant GM on Jan. 30.

There are a couple of things that I think we’re still trying to figure out.

We’ve got to figure it out.

But that’s not a problem.

They are on the same page and we know that we can’t let the chemistry that we’ve built with each other fall apart.

There’s always chemistry and chemistry builds trust, and we feel like we have a lot of that now.

But I don’t think the Leafs feel like they have to do anything to get to that point.

We can always go out there and try to play better, play together better, and make plays for each other.

But when you’re not able to do that, when you can’t make plays offensively, when your offensive guys can’t score, you know you’re in trouble.

Babcock has been on the job since July 1.

He was promoted by Toronto GM Bryan Murray after Mike Babby was fired.

The Leafs are 7-6-1 in their past eight games.

Babish said he has talked to Murray on multiple occasions and has learned a lot from him.

Murray, who took over the job on Jan 3, said he doesn’t want to rush things.

It’s a process, and I want to be honest with you that there are a lot things that are going on that I don’st want to talk about.

But this is not something I’m going to do now, he said.

Murray said that Babcock and the other assistant GMs are working to figure that out.

It was a matter of time, he added.

Babiak is the first Leafs GM to come out of the building since Joe Sakic.

The two were teammates on the Edmonton Oilers for five years before Sakic fired Babiak.

The first thing Babiak said to Murray was that the two have a good relationship and they’ve been working on it.

Murray didn’t say what that is.

Murray has been to Toronto to see the Leafs play at the Air Canada Centre and the Maple Leafs are 1-2-0 in his tenure.

He also was in attendance for a game last week.

Murray is in a unique position in that he was the GM in Edmonton, and then he is a Leafs assistant GM.

Murray and Babiak have had a similar relationship.

The coach and assistant GM have been in Toronto together for five seasons.

Babich played in six seasons with the Edmonton organization and was a first-round pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

He spent seven seasons in Toronto before moving on to the Rangers and Oilers.

Murray was the general manager in Edmonton for eight seasons.

He played three seasons in Edmonton before being fired in November 2008.

He went on to become the head coach in Detroit.

Murray’s wife, Heather, played in two Stanley Cup championships with the Detroit Red Wings.

Murray also coached in the NHL for three seasons with Vancouver.

Murray played in the minors for the Detroit Griffins for eight years.

He won a Stanley Cup with the Red Wings in 2003 and the following year, was named the NHL’s Coach of the Year.

Murray came to Toronto in a trade with Toronto for Brendan Shanahan, but Shanahan was fired after the season.

The Red Wings traded Shanahan to Tampa Bay in a three-team deal in February 2009 for defenseman Brian Rafalski and a third-round draft pick.

Shanahan spent six seasons in Detroit before coming to Toronto.

Murray helped the Red Devils win the Stanley Cup in 2009 and was the team’s coach from 2010 to 2015.

He has won five Stanley Cups with the Devils.

Murray hired Babich as his assistant GM in the summer of 2012.

The coaching relationship between Babich and Murray has gone on and on.

Murray coached Babich’s younger brother, Dylan, in the American Hockey League.

Dylan played in 13 games with the Sabres and Sabres assistant coach Dave Poulin in the AHL.

Babichevski had 16 goals and 31 points in 74 games for the Islanders in 2016-17.

He scored two goals and added 11 assists with a plus-7 rating in 31 games for New York.

Murray had two assistants in Babich, Dave Tippett and Mike Sullivan.

He helped the Isles win the NHL title in 2013 and 2014.

The Islanders had three assistant GM candidates on their radar in the first half of the season: Brendan Shanahan and Dan O’Toole.

Shanahan was the coach in the Islanders inaugural season in 2017-18 and was promoted in February 2018.

O’Malley was the assistant GM
